Behavioural Problems

We assess and address behavioural issues with a structured, practical approach, focusing on understanding the root cause and correcting unwanted behaviours effectively.

• Non-severe issues (e.g. jumping up, chewing, excessive barking, poor behaviour in the car). Typically addressed through a one-to-one consultation with our behaviourist. Clear guidance and techniques provided for owners to implement at home.
• Severe issues (e.g. aggression towards people or other dogs). Combination of behavioural consultation and hands-on training. Structured programme involving both behaviourist and trainer input.
• Residential training options available for more complex cases.

Pet Dog Training

Whether starting from scratch or improving existing behaviour, our pet training programmes are designed to give you a well-mannered, responsive dog.

• One-to-one training sessions with our experienced trainer John. Learn how to train and handle your dog effectively with flexible programmes tailored to your goals.
• Learn how to train your dog in any discipline you require. There are residential courses from 3 – 21 days. The course depends on how much training you want for your dog. e.g. Teaching your dog to walk to heel on a leash (3 – 5 days). Full obedience training consisting of heel, sit, down, stay & recall in 21 days.
• You can also mix and match, attend one to one lessons and do some of the work and let our trainer at Garromuir finish off for you.

Specialist Training

For more advanced or specific requirements, we offer specialist training programmes tailored to working and performance dogs.
